Happy Holidays from Jason Sudeikis! [Video]

If this doesn't make you laugh, I'm not sure what will.

My increasing love of Sir Kenan Thompson is definitely there, but more importantly you cannot resist the JS dance moves in the background. What up with that? oooooh weeeee! Happy Holidays, folks.

Team Coco Gets A Milli! 45, Actually.

On Tuesday's show, Conan delighted audience members by informing them he was "just three days away from the biggest drinking binge in history."

"I spent the afternoon at Universal Studios' amusement park, enjoying their brand-new ride, the 'Tunnel of Litigation,'" O'Brien said in reference to negotiations for his departure.

Noting reports that he was legally prohibited from criticizing NBC in public, O'Brien then added: "Nobody said anything about speaking in Spanish."

It has now been reported that Conan O'Brien will leave NBC in a 45-million-dollar deal. O'Brien will pocket around 32 million dollars with the balance going to his staff. Congrats Conan! I'm going to miss you on NB[zzz]C, but I hope to see that red hair on fox very soon :)

Spike Lee Directs Final Michael Jackson Video ‘This Is It’

Last night I tuned in to watch the "Jack5ons" on A&E- and despite the weirdness factor,  I STILL cried over the passing of Michael. It only took Jackie to shed one tear and I was a mess. I will never forget what happened on June 25th (only a few days before my  Birthday, might I add). So, take a moment to celebrate MJ's life with me & enjoy the latest video by Spike Lee!

Michael Jackson - This Is It - Directed by Spike Lee from 40 Acres and a Mule Filmworks on Vimeo.

Lee crafted the moving video using photos and video of Michael’s boyhood home in Gary, Indiana, spliced together with footage of Jackson during his prime and video of his fans reacting to the King of Pop’s death by celebrating his life.

Media Newsbriefs: Pepsi Pulls Out of Superbowl, VH1 Helps Women Find Love, RuPaul Rips The Runway, Is Avatar The Best 3-D Movie? + More

Since 1987, Pepsi has advertised its various soda beverages in the Super Bowl. After 23 years of classic commercials- Pepsi announced it will pull out of the Super Bowl as an advertiser. However, Frito-Lay, a division of PepsiCo Inc. will continue to advertise. FedEx also declared they will not be buying ad time in the Super Bowl, scheduled to air February 7 on CBS. [MSNBC]

On January 11, VH1 will launch two new shows centered around some of your favorite recording artists. No, it isn't Ray J or Flavor Flav. First up at 10p, VH1 opens Fantasia For Real, a docu-series concentrating on the real life of American Idol winner, Fantasia. Following at 1030p, VH1 premieres Let's Talk About Pep, a real-life comedy featuring Sandra "Pepa" Denton in search of love. [VH1]

Logo is bringing back a sophomore run of its reality competition series RuPaul's Drag Race on February 1 at 9p. Each week, journalist Merle Ginsberg and my fave Project Runway star Santino Rice- will join RuPaul as judges on the show. Guest judges are said to include:Kathy Griffin, Cloris Leachman, Debbie Reynolds, Jackie Collins, Tatum O'Neal, Kathy Najimy, Tanya Tucker and Lisa Rinna among many others. Did you ever get a chance to watch the 1st season? Hilarious! When contestants are selected to stay / get booted they receive a “chante, you stay,” or “sashay, away.” Isn't that enough of a reason to watch? [Popwatch]

Facebook can't seem to fight the privacy backlash. After changing their policy, several consumer groups filed a formal complaint with the FTC arguing that the changes violate federal privacy protections. Consumers claim that the privacy settings disclose personal information to the public that was previously restricted and share information to third parties that was previously not available. [eweek

2009 was indeed the year of 3-D movies. Up, Coraline and now Avatar- has created a major following with movie goers. However, Avatar is said to be "the first big thrill ride of the season" (and perhaps of the year). Avatar is expected to be the biggest 3D movie to date, with 2,032 of the 3,457 theaters opening the film in the U.S. [Variety]

Who says it's a recession? Apparently the money is all in seasonal ring-tones. Mariah Carey's $2.99 "All I Want for Christmas" ringtone from Legacy Recordings has become the first seasonal ringtone to cross the RIAA Double Platinum mark with sales of more than two million units. [Legacy Recordings]

Simon Fuller's 19 Entertainment, (American Idol, So You Think You Can Dance) announced a new interactive talent show planned for next year that combines mobile, internet video and social networking. Think American Idonl on the web. The "post reality" series titled If I Can Dream documents 5 young actors pursuing their Hollywood dreams. The interactive format will allow audiences to communicate with the hopefuls in real time via text messaging, blogs, Twitter, My Space and Hulu comments. [AdAge

Can't make it to NYC for the new year? Don't worry. The organizers of the annual New Year's Eve gala in Times Square are joining forces with Livestream to produce a live webcast of this year's Ball Raising ceremony at TimesSquareNYC.org. The site will feature an embeddable widget, enabling online publishers to feature the webcast on their sites for free. [TechCrunch]

Retro Divas: Jennifer Lopez vs. Christina Aguilera '40s Inspired Fashion

Last night Jennifer Lopez performed her latest single "Louboutins" on the television show "So You Think You Can Dance?"

And while it was an entertaining performance, I couldn't take me eyes off of J.Lo's sparkly 40's inspired look.  She looked amazing, but it immediately reminded me of another beautiful diva- Christina Aguilera. Although Christina wasn't the first to bring back the pin-up style- I do give her a TON of credit for attempting it when nobody cared or even tried.

So who pulls it off the best? J.Lo or Pin-Up Postergirl - Christina Aguilera? Christina gets my vote. You?

Check out Jennifer's performance below & the classic "Aint No Other Man" video by Christina. (ps: Christina is rocking Louboutin's here. I'm just saying!)

Latinos On Television- I Bet You Didn't Even Realize

(R: Naya Rivera, Glee)

I get very giddy when I see Latino's on television, because the truth is... we don't ever really  get to play ourselves. I mean, how many of you actually knew that Zoe Saldana was a Dominicana when you first saw her in the film Center Stage? Even J.Lo played an Italian mami in The Wedding Planner. And don't get me started on the one's who try to dismiss their roots (Jessica Alba, Cameron Diaz, etc)....

While our cross-over rate is still growing rapidly, we want some love for the Latino's out there right now! But who are they, where are they and what have they done? Are they winning awards or better yet...are they getting nominated?

The 16th Annual Screen Actor’s Guild nominations were announced this morning in Hollywood, and while Latino TV stars didn’t get a single nomination in the six individual acting categories—we did fairly well in two categories that recognize the outstanding achievements of TV ensembles.

SAG has nominated the cast of Showtime's Dexter in the category of “Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series.” Which means, David Zayas and his co-stars Courtney Ford and Lauren Velez were all nominated for their superb performances as part of the cast. Sofia Vergara also received a nomination for her ABC comedy Modern Family - which lands in the "Best Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series" category. Oscar Nunez was nominated for his work in The Office, and Naya Rivera received her first SAG nomination via Glee's ensemble.

Not bad, ey?
