If this doesn't make you laugh, I'm not sure what will.
My increasing love of Sir Kenan Thompson is definitely there, but more importantly you cannot resist the JS dance moves in the background. What up with that? oooooh weeeee! Happy Holidays, folks.
The dancing, the spanglish and Betty White FTW! Dominicans have finally made their way on Saturday Night Live through a hilarious 'Manuel Ortiz' skit. It is refreshing to see the culture [comedically] get represented. Check it out!
Honorable mention: We cant forget about Tracy Morgan as "Dominican Lou"...hilarious
This evening, Tina Fey reprised her impression of Sarah Palin on "Saturday Night Live" while hosting the NBC sketch comedy show. Also on her list of characters was a blonde analyst for CBS' coverage of the Masters, in which she claims to be a former girlfriend of Tiger Woods & a skit of a lonely teacher alongside Justin Bieber. I'm not sure about the odd sexual fantasies she was having for Justin Bieber, but it was all in good fun & very entertaining!
But, The Tiger Woods Nike Spoof was kind of genius. It was obvious that SNL would take a crack at Tiger, Nike and the commercial. The spot had Kenan Thompson stepping into Tiger's shoes. What did you think of Saturday Night Live's take on the Nike commercial?
Can't get enough of Mad Men? Well, get your fix with this week's SNL episode. January Jones (Betty Draper) was on set to bring viewers some old school humor. Check out the clips below. Do you think she nailed the hosting gig?
The monologuewas the only skit that was purely Mad Men driven. In it, she's almost immediately interrupted by a group of obsessed fans known as the "Mad Mennies." They even join her on stage to sing the show's 'theme song' with their original lyrics.
In "A Ladies Guide to Party Planning" Jones' played up the role of a '60s housewife (much like her Mad Men character). The skit is based on an instructional video about party etiquette for women living in a male-dominated world.
One of the funniest skits of the evening did not include Jones, but was brilliant. How accurate is this take on Kim Kardashian? Hilarious!
I'd been secretly hoping for a funny VMA skit...but Taylor got her Kanye jab out of the way early with her "monologue song." Strumming her guitar, Swift sang lines like "You might be expecting me to say/ Something bad about Kanye/ And how he ran up on the stage/ But there's nothing more to say/ 'Cause everything's OK/ I've got security lining the stage."
Swift also ended the monologue with another dig at West. "We've got a great show, " she laughed. "Kanye West is not here."
The young songstress went on to play the part of a typical/awkward teen in the majority of her skits. The only scene I found slightly amusing was her Shakira impersonation.
