Tom Binns x Disney Couture ‘Alice in Wonderland’ Jewelery

Tom Binns is one of the edgier jewelry designers out there, so when we heard about this Disney collaboration- we were really excited! The Tom Binns designed collection  for Disney Couture is inspired by the upcoming Alice in Wonderland movie. The jewels had a quiet drop date of February 1st & are now available to the public.  Do you like the kooky designs?

'Yassai 7' Asks You To Love a Little

I'm an accessory fiend, but it’s even better when the jewels support a good cause. Yassai 7’s new collection features tough pieces with anti-war messages expressed all throughout the design. The Love necklace features a thick gunmetal chain and letters spelled out in weapons. The piece aims to end the inhumane trade of blood diamonds, with a witty, visual play on the sixties slogan “Make love, not war.”

Where + How To Buy:
Yassai 7 Loved necklace, $75 at Cockpit USA, 652 Broadway, nr. Bond St.; 212-254-4000 or at Yassai7.com.

Stella McCartney "Alice In Wonderland" Jewelry Collection

It seems like the fashion world is fully embracing Tim Burton’s adaptation of Alice In Wonderland. While the Disney movie isn't out until March 5, 2010- many brands are dropping collaborations prior to the film release. Just today Elle UK reported that Stella McCartney has teamed up with Disney to design a collection of Alice-themed jewelry. Stella has created a range of limited edition necklaces and bracelets. The designs play up the classic characters & their trademark looks (ie: Mad Hatter’s hats and The Queen's hearts and spades). Both the necklace and bracelet will hit her stores at the end of this month. The bracelet retails for $395 and necklace $425- both pieces feature charms, muted pearlized pieces and swarovski crystals.  Check it out below!
