L'Atlas in Berlin

I always love guerilla street art! Last week, L'Atlas performed one of his geometric design performances on Oberbaumbrucke- one of the original intersections of East and West Berlin. (See the whole series here)

Hair as an Art Form

In a collaboration between CuldeSac and Studio Marisol, both compamnies host a seminar each summer attended by renowned designers, architects and artists who live and work together with the participants for a length of six to ten days. This summer’s design theme will be human hair!

"The main goal is to research, design and build a project by using cutting, shape, fixing, weaving, teasing, textures and colour. But…how could these treatments have influence on design products? This is one of the many questions that emerge in this unique workshop where hair’s properties (versatility, resistance, structure, aesthetics, colour and light) will be given to newly created objects of design.”

KAWS Book by Rizzoli

The very popular print house Rizzoli (SUPREME/BAPE) is now bringing us the KAWS book. The book is scheduled for release in September 2010.
