Oscars 2010 Hair Trends

Up-Do's reigned supreme on the red carpet this year. Buns were one of the most popular choices at the Academy Awards as celebs like Sarah Jessica Parker, J.Lo and rachel McAdams each rocked their own variation of the trend. 

Sarah Jessica Parker chose a big, sculptural bun that took inspiration from flowers. Jennifer Lopez, Rachel McAdams and Nicole Richie all chose smaller sized buns at varying heights. J.Lo chose the casual 'messy look' that is a big trend for FW10 while Nicole kept it all neatly tucked. Mo'Niques 'do featured beautiful white flowers that gave the simple hairstyle some extra pizazz.

The overall appeal of this style is that it creates a simple "undone" look without going overboard. Simple styles also give you the ability to wear an outrageous outfit & look chic.  Do you like the look?
