Happy Holidays from Jason Sudeikis! [Video]

If this doesn't make you laugh, I'm not sure what will.

My increasing love of Sir Kenan Thompson is definitely there, but more importantly you cannot resist the JS dance moves in the background. What up with that? oooooh weeeee! Happy Holidays, folks.

Halloween Inspiration via The Scissor Sisters "Baby Come Home"

As I sit in this weekend, working (wine in hand), I always look to the Scissor Sisters for some fun jams. Along the way, I got inspired to re-visit one of my old Halloween costume ideas... pirate girl chic, from the 40s. Think of bright red lips, a "vintage" inspired hair-do and short shorts! Now I just need to find somewhere to wear it. What are you going to be this halloween?

Olympics Shout Girl Power to All!

Although the Spice Girls (OG endorsers of 'Girl Power') closed the Olympic Ceremony... it's the women competing this year that were the most dominant in Olympic history!

With every country sending at least one female rep for the first time, the women of the US scored 29 of the 46 gold medals awarded! (That's 58 out of 104 total for US women).

New Music: Fiona Apple "The Idler Wheel"

"Fiona Apple's music does something different. A classically lovely woman whose gorgeous, sultry alto once led her toward alt-divadom, Apple has always dared herself to be and do something else: to say no to simple beauty and instead express the urges and insecurities that more accommodating artists tend to avoid

This has never been truer than on Apple's first album in seven years, whose typically hard-to-digest title is partly The Idler Wheel — the part in a system of gears (on phonographs and cassette players, among other extraordinary machines) that, seemingly passively, helps other parts move. The feelings Apple takes on in her deliberately maddening, eventually addictive new songs are those that inch us along, filling up most of our lives: icky little feelings like petty jealousy, self-doubt, bored loneliness and shamed regret. This is the stuff we'd rather tamp down. Apple wraps her fingers around it and makes it unavoidable."
